Experience Jesus

A few years ago I went to a prayer evening of a church. During this evening the pastor prayed for a young man who was also attending the evening. The words of the pastor touched the young man who started crying. While the pastor continued to pray for others as well, I went to the young man. I don’t know why, but for some reason I started to cast out everything that was not from God and to pray for the Holy Spirit to fill this young man. In Healed from Back Pain by Moving of a Spine Disc I shared about the healing of my wife from back pain. Through prayer a Spine Disc moved and the pain was gone. I asked to write down her part of this testimony and here it is:

Yesterday, Jesus Conquered

Yesterday evening, my wife and I were visiting fellow Christians. We were gathered there with several brothers and sisters and had real fellowship. It was really good to be together as God’s family and be church. During the evening we discussed how we could live as real disciples of Jesus, just like the first disciples in the Book of Acts. In the Word of God as defined by the Bible, I explained that Jesus himself is the Word of God. This might be something confusing for some of you, but actually it is really powerful. It does not decrease the authority or trustworthiness of the Bible, but gives a different perspective to Jesus and what he does in us. Jesus is the Word through which everything is made and this Word became flesh (see John 1). Jesus died, but rose again from the dead after three days.
